TERRA NOVA ANATOLIO (IAR 1008670)

Anatolio is a four year old potential stud male who is yet to be certified. He has Brutus genetics and was sired by Honeyfields McKerrow - who retained a very lustrous and low micron fleece throughout his maturity. Anatolio would make a fine addition to a start-up breeding herd.

Why you should get alpaca

Alpaca are intelligent and gentle animals that are easy to handle, farm and care for. They are also "eco friendly" as they are "light on the land". Alpaca also are a good alternative to small scale traditional farming of sheep or cattle - especially for owners of lifestyle blocks where there is limited land space.

They make wonderful pets and provide hours of fun and enjoyment for their owners young and old. Our family have all enjoyed breeding and caring for the alpaca. In the words of our youngest daughter Phoebe "Alpaca are so cuddly and their fleeces are so warm."

At Terra Nova Alpacas we currently have a small selection of young or proven females who are available for sale and could join Anatolio to form a start-up herd for any prospective breeder.

We are also expecting a number of cria to be born this summer - some of whom will be made available for sale as pets.

We are happy to talk to any prospective purchaser about how to care for these lovely animals and welcome farm visits by prior arrangement.
